Ms. Emma J. Paige, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.
Emma Paige was born in Selma, Alabama to the late Henry Page and Racheal Young Page. She lived in the state of Alabama until she decided to moved to Hemstead, New York at a young age. She made New York her home for many years. Later in her life, life she moved to Woodruff, South Carolina to take care of her father.
Emma Paige was preceded in death by her brothers, James Henry Page and Walter “Buddy” Page. She was also preceded in death by her beloved uncle, William Page Sr.
Emma Paige became a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, Woodruff, SC after she moved to Woodruff, South Carolina. Beforehand, she was a devoted member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hemstead, NY. She was a faithful member of New Bethel Baptist Church until God called her home to glory.
Emma Paige was a special godly person. Also, she was a devoted caregiver. She believed in helping anyone in need. Furthermore, she loved her neighbors, people she knew, her sister, and family unconditionally. In her spare time she enjoyed shopping, traveling, spending
time with her children, singing in the church choir and most of all, working in the yard.
Emma Paige leaves to cherish her legacy to her daughter, Natiesha Paige and one son, Darrell (Debra) Florence of Stockbridge, GA. One sister, Rosetta Jones and one brother-in-law, Bennie H. Jones Sr of Woodruff, SC. She has five grandchildren, Giana Stanley, Chasten Florence, Alexis Florence, Raven Florence and Jaden Florence; ten great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews of Detroit, MI and a host of relatives and friends. She also has a beloved and loving aunt, Ethel Mae B. Paige of Birmingham, AL. Lastly, she leaves behind a very special friend that is very close to her heart.
Emma Paige enjoyed life to the fullest extent and she was a strong believer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
