Life Profile
John Henry ”Sonny Boy” Hair, 82 of 13440 Hwy 56, Cross Anchor, SC, died Monday, March 8, 2021 at Laurens Memorial Hospital, Laurens, SC. He was the son of the late Henry Hair and Carrie Oxner Hair and husband of Louise Green Hair, of the home.
John retired from Torrington Cooperation, Union, SC after many years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carrie Cannon and two brothers, Harold Hair and Proverb Hair.
Other survivors to cherish fond and loving memories include one daughter, Kimberly Geter (Michael) of Cross Anchor, SC. One brother Carol Hair of Cross Anchor, SC. Three sisters, Joy Elizabeth Briggs, Avenell Fair and Mary Briggs, all of Cross Anchor, SC; Two grandchildren, Tavares Geter (Sonya) and Ki’ara Brannon (Jeremy). Two great grandchildren Tamera Geter and Aubrey Brannon.
John was a beloved son, father, brother and grandpa and a caring loyal friend to many others.
