Mauldin, SC – Gregory “Tripp” Johnson, 61, of 222 Libby Lane died December 23, 2021. He was the husband of Rolanda Johnson of the home. He was the son of Lloyd G. Macbeth of West Palm Beach, FL and the late Shirley Johnson.
Other survivors include his sons, Robert D. Scott (Tonya) of Lawrenceville, GA and William D. Scott (Ashley) of Spartanburg, SC; his siblings, Bishop Donald Johnson (Lisa) of Vernon, CT, Joan Hightower of Garner,NC, Monique Perry (Michael) of Bunn, NC, Vanetta Macbeth of Bloomfield,CT, Lloyd Haynes (Joyce) of Palm Coast, FL, Elbert Robinson (Sharon) of Windsor, CT, Kim Govan of Ocala, FL, Roslyn Steven of West Hartford, CT, Natalie Stevens of Hartford, CT, and Barbara Carlton Brown (Lorenzo) of Farmington Hill, MI; grandchildren, Kiana Smith, Basia Scott, Xavier Kearse Morgan Scott, Brina Ramsey, Robert Scott III, Brooklyn Ramsey and Tianna Scott; and great-granddaughter Azriel Smith-Dobbins.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 12:00 noon at New Bethel Baptist Church, Woodruff, SC. Interment will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Raleigh, NC. Public viewing will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at the W.J. Gist Mortuary, Woodruff, SC.
