Mr. Bobby Joe Waters entered into Eternal rest on Friday, April 15th, 2022. Mr. Waters was born on January 28th, 1945 in Woodruff, SC to the late Geneva and Arthur Waters. Bobby attended New Bethel High School located in Woodruff, SC. He was a long time employee at B J Workman Hospital and also at Reeves Brothers Mill, both in Woodruff, SC. Bobby loved his family and spent a lot of time with his kids. Bobby also enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing and singing. 

Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Lee Waters (Tuffy).

Bobby leaves to cherish his memories; Long time friend Mary Libscomb of Union, SC; daughter, Sherry Waters of Woodruff, SC; Siblings include Sister, Patricia Shephard (Earl) of Detroit, MI, Brother Clifford Waters (Nettie) of Woodruff, SC, Brother Jerry Waters of Woodruff, SC, Brother Dennis Alexander of Woodruff, SC, Brother Anthony Waters (Juanita) of Woodruff, SC, and Brother Tim Waters of Spartanburg, SC; Granddaughters include Erica Waters of Thompson, GA, Talisha Waters of Union, SC, Telana Norman of Spartanburg, SC, Ieasha Bivens of Spartanburg, SC, and Jasmine Whiteside of Greer, SC; Grandson’s include Jaquan Waters of Spartanburg, SC, and Zavier Waters of Greer, SC, Jasmine Young of Union, SC and Nicholas Goings of Cincinnati, OH; Bobby had 7 great grand kids that he loved also and a host of other relatives and friends.
