Mr. Ezzie Stroud entered eternal rest on January 29, 2018.
He was the son of the late Marie P. Byrd and step-father Jurell Byrd Sr. In earlier years, Mr. Stroud was a member of The Beaverdam Baptist Church in Enoree, South Carolina.
He was employed with triangle Construction Company. He was a loyal member of the Doris P. Sullivan Lodge #582, and a loyal member of the Royal Entertainers in Laurens, South Carolina.
He leaves behind a wife, Mrs. Lola Stroud of Laurens, SC; two stepsons, Mr. Stanley Yeargin of Laurens, SC, Mr. Sammy Yeargin of New York, NY; two brothers, Mr. Jurell Byrd, Jr. (Ruth) of Laurens, SC, Mr. Robert Byrd (Madge) of Enoree, SC; three sisters, Mattie B. Harper of Laurens, SC, Christine B. Mickens and Ann B. Vance, both of Enoree, SC; three sisters– in– laws, Mrs. Sallie A. Stroud of Laurens, SC, Mrs. Rosa B. Pryor of Ora, SC, Mrs. Ada Barksdale of Gray Court, SC; one brother-in-law, Mr. Charles Latham of Enoree, SC; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
