Elder Willie James Jones, 89, of 5 Culp Street, Apt A1, Inman SC died February 27,2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center, Spartanburg SC.
He was the son of the late Lenora Rookard and Willie Jones and husband of the late Frances Macomson Jones .
Survivors include daughters, Elaine Ruth Brewster of Simpsonville SC, Janice Hunter Degraffinried of Moore SC son Terry Lee Jones (Gloria) of Simpsonville SC . Also Cynthia Landrum (Greg) of Inman SC, Brain Macomson of Mauldin SC, four sisters Margie Jones Dandy, Lillian Jones Murphy (Ralph), Lucille Gossett, Faye Gossett Murphy (Robert), Seven brothers Charles Edward Jones, Kent Jones (Carolyn), Sonny Jones ( Faye ), Casey Jones (Diane), Charles Mack Gossett, Granville Gossett and Johnny Gossett .
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 12 noon at New Prospect Baptist Church, Enoree SC, with burial in church cemetery.
Public viewing will be held at Friday March 3, 2023 from 1 to 6pm at The W. J. Gist Memoiral Chapel, Woodruff SC.
