John L. Byrd , 77 of 555 Anderson Drive, Woodruff SC died Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Upstate Hospice House, Landrum, SC. He was the son of the late RD Byrd, Sr. and Sarah Parks Byrd and husband of Gardenia Gray Byrd of the home. Other survivors include two daughters Bregina (Johnny) Sexton of Enoree SC and Yolanda (Eric) Elmore of the home. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 2pm at Beaverdam Baptist Church, Enoree SC with burial in Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the WJ Gist Mortuary, Woodruff SC from 1 to 6 pm. W. J. Gist Mortuary is in Charge of arrangements.
