Ethel Scott, 83 of 262 Washington Street , Woodruff SC died November 27, 2022 at Spartanburg Hospice Home, Spartanburg SC. She was the daughter of the late James and Lillie Bell Irby and wife of Jack Scott of the home. Other survivors include three daughters Jacqueline Pilgrim of Roebuck SC, Lisa Lyles of Greenville SC and Brenda -Abdul (Nakil) Martin of Greenville SC, two sons Randy Scott and Barry Scott both of Woodruff SC , one step daughter Inez Rice of Woodruff SC , one sister Bessie Leake of Spartanburg SC and one brother James Irby Jr. of Spartanburg SC. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 1 pm at The WJ Gist Memorial Chapel, Woodruff SC , with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Garden, Greer SC. Public viewing will be held on Monday December 5, 2022 from 1 to 6pm at The WJ Gist Mortuary, Woodruff SC.
