Mr. Timothy Jaye Weldon passed Thursday April 8, 2021. Mr. Weldon’s funeral service will be Friday, April 23, 2021, at 11AM, W. J. Gist Memorial Chapel.

Timothy Jaye Weldon, affectionately known as Timmy, was born in the Roxborough-Manayunk area of Philadelphia, to the late Bernard Weldon and Maria Pettaway.

He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age after a visit from the late Billy Graham to his area. He was baptized at New Umbria Baptist Church where he attended. Then later in life he became a member of Church of the Advocate.

Timmy received his education in the Philadelphia Public School system. He went to Roxborough High School in 1970 through 1973. He was accepted in the Neighborhood Youth Program where he received his G.E.D. in 1973 at Temple University. He furthered his education and joined O.I.C. where he studied electrical wiring.

He worked for many Contractors as an Electrician Mechanic.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Debra Weldon; four children, Nicole (Akikah), Timothy (Tara), ShaClea and Nina (Thomas). Three Brothers Bernard, Vincent (Carmen) and Kevin (Tynesha); Two Sisters, Brenda (Reggie) and Arlene (Dwayne); Fourteen Grandchildren, three Great grandchildren and one god-daughter; A host of Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, Friends and special friends, Maurice and Dawn Singleton and Pedro and Janice Robinson.

I am not dead, I am more alive than I have ever been, only my address has changed…….
