Mrs. Alma Jean Mays, 79, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at PruittHealth Care – Columbia, SC. A native of Woodruff, SC and the widow of Wallace Mays Sr., and daughter of the late Frank Armfield Sr. and Minnie Gist Armfield. Mrs. Mays was a Member of New Bethel Baptist Church, Woodruff, SC and a graduate of New Bethel High School in Woodruff, SC. Left to cherish her memories; one son, Wallace Mays Jr, (Felicia) of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Debra A. Foster and Rev. Dannette Armfield both of Woodruff, SC; five brother, Terry Armfield (Margaret) of Boling Spring, SC, Johnnie Lee Armfield (Mary Ann) of Patterson, NJ, Carroll Armfield of Woodruff, SC, Rev Fred Armfield (Debra Ann) of Greenwood, SC and Allen Armfield of Simpsonville, SC; four grandchildren, Tyler Mays, Tara Glass (Melvin), Jakeira Hudgens and Jakobe Hudgens; seven great-great grandchildren, Marquavius Crawford, Cal’Asia Jackson, Ray’heim and Tai’Lyn Oglesby, Gabrie, KaeLyn and Memphis Glass; and a host of other relatives and friends. | |
