Annie Mae Massey

Mrs. Annie Mae Stoddard Massey was born November 21, 1936 in Washington, D.C. to the late John Stoddard and Genevieve Cox Stoddard. For many years she resided in Washington, D.C. After her return to South Carolina, she became a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church, Enoree, SC, which she attended faithfully until her health declined. She loved her church and especially loved her Pastor. She was educated in the Laurens County Schools. She was a retired Federal Government Employee. Mrs. Massey was married to the late Isom “Brooks” Massey.

She was predeceased by a grandson Anthony Ray Wharton, sisters, Mrs. Desiree S. Gray, Mrs. Addie S. Bryson and Mrs. Nannie S. Morrow.

She leaves to cherish her memories; daughter, Mrs. Diane Moseley (Walter) of Mauldin, SC; stepdaughter, Mrs. Gloria Young of Woodruff, SC; brother, Mr. Marvin Stewart of Washington, DC; one brother -in-law, Mr. James Morrow of Temple Hill, MD; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Pauline Massey of Laurens, SC; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
