Mr. Garie Lemont Price, born on January 25, 1978 Howard County Maryland, entered into rest on November 17, 2018 after a six year battle with ALS.
He was preceded in death by his father Gregory Daniel Price Sr.; two grandfathers, Mr. Eugene Hunter, Mr. Calvin Henry Price Sr.; grandmother Yvonne Hunter; two aunts, Rita Price and Vona Poole; one uncle Calvin Henry Price Jr. and greatgrandmother Karetha Goggins.
He is survived by his loving wife Lashevia Price; two sons, Garie Price Jr., and Jayden Price of the home in Moore, SC; his mother, Stephanie Hunter (DJ) of Moore SC; three brothers Gregory Price Jr. of Moore, SC, Chauncy Hunter of Duncan, SC, Jerrid Price of Baltimore, MD; two stepbrothers, Darnell of Baltimore, MD and Terrell Scott of Woodruff, SC; one sister Margarita Price of NC; a special cousin who was like a sister, Lashunda Hunter of Spartanburg, SC; four stepsisters, Rakia, Jasmine of Baltimore, MD, Tracy and Tiffany Scott of Woodruff, SC; also surviving are three sisters-in-law, Chelsea McNeil, Cherelle McNeil and Von Jeter; two brothers-inlaw, Darious Jeter and Samuel McNeil; mother-in-law, Peggy Jeter; father-in-law, Samuel McNeil Sr., all of Greenville, SC; seven aunts, Kimberly Price of Baltimore, MD, Sherry Beaty (Tyrone) of Woodruff, SC, Geraldine Hunter of Roebuck, SC, Joann Mansell, Johnnie Ruth Jeter both of Greenville, SC, Dora Jeter (Earl) of Spartanburg, SC, Barbara Jeter of Union, SC; nine uncles, Eugene Hunter Jr. and Collier Jones of Cross Anchor, SC, Pete, Nathaniel, Michel, Kenneth, Vincent, Loren Price of Baltimore, MD and Johnathan Price of Philadelphia, PA; three great uncles, Nathaniel Hunter (Mae Helen) of Woodruff, SC, Odell (Velma) Hunter of Greenville, SC and Rosevelt Hunter of Shelby, NC; two great aunts Maggie Hunter and Mammie Hunter of Woodruff, SC; and many other loving relatives, friends, and fellow soldiers; A special thank you to Mother Ruth Dogan aka “grandma” for always loving us, and keeping us in constant prayer. Thank you to his nurse, Ms. Cynthia, who gave him such love and special care during his illness.
