Mrs. Peggy J. Rice, 83, of 205 Old Farm Road, Moore, SC, died on February 28, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center, Spartanburg SC.

She was the daughter of the late Ernest Arledge and Maggie Lipscomb Arledge and wife of the late Henry Allen Rice.

Survivors include four daughters, Dorothy Smith of Woodruff SC, Angela Arledge of Duncan, SC, Toni Rice of Spartanburg SC and Elaine Williams of Roebuck SC, seven sons, Donnie (Tamya)Rice, Welford SC, Ronnie Rice, Greenville, SC, Kenneth Rice, Inman SC, Gerald(Keisha) , Georgia, Reginald Rice ,Terrance Rice and Jerrell Meadows all of Moore SC. Two sisters, Regina Robinson, Spartanburg SC and Sharon Arledge of Gastonia NC.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday,March 8, 2025 at 1 pm at The Worship Center, Roebuck SC with burial in Heritage Memorial Garden, Roebuck, SC. Public viewing will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Alexander Casey and Gist Funeral Chapel, Moore SC from 1 till 6 pm .
