Woodruff SC — Mrs. Lucy Mae Parks Gilliam 76 of 509 Sharpe Street died February 7 ,2022, daughter of the late Walter Parks Sr. and Annie Maude Watson Parks and wife of John A. Gilliam of the home. Mrs. Lucy was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Enoree, SC, retired from Mill Mill textile industry after many years, she was the last survivor of her immediate family. Other survivors include a daughter, Tracey Gilliam of Greenville, SC, a daughter in law Pamela Gilliam of Woodruff, SC, two sisters-in-law Lillie Ruth Stephens and Laura Ann Parks, both of Woodruff, SC , one brother-in-law Fred (Carrie) Gilliam of Spartanburg, SC, thirteen grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 12 noon at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Enoree, SC with burial in church cemetery.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 1 to 7 pm at W. J. Gist Memorial Chapel, Woodruff, SC.
