Mr. Terry Lee Ferguson, son of the late Mrs. Ruth Geter Ferguson and the late Mr. James (Slack) Pearson. Terry was a native of Woodruff, SC, recently residing in Clarkston, GA.
He was called from labor to reward on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Dekalb Medical Center. Mr. Ferguson was a member of Mount Alexander Baptist Church, Woodruff, SC.
He was a graduate of Woodruff High School in Woodruff, SC. He was employed by Turners Drive-Inn in Woodruff, SC and GNC in Greenville, SC. Terry was a Veteran of the Armed Forces of the United States 0-0 an SP4 E-4.
Mr. Ferguson was the proud father of one daughter, Miss Brianna Ferguson of Woodruff, SC; one son, Mr. Tyrus (Erica) Murray of Enoree, SC; one grandson, Master Tyrus Murray, II; one granddaughter, Little Miss Heaven Elaine Murray; two sisters, Mrs. Deborah Young and Mrs. Shirley F. Smith both of Woodruff, SC; two brothers, Mr. James Earl Ferguson of North Carolina and Mr. Frankie Green of Woodruff, SC; seven aunts, Mrs. Betty Glenn, Mrs. Doris Alexander, Minister Cindy Pearson, Mrs. Evelyn Woods, Minister Mamie Geter, Mrs. Ethel Mae Brannon and Mrs. Lala Mae Geter; two sister –in-laws, Mrs. Mildred Ferguson and Mrs. Alice Ferguson; and host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Ferguson was preceded in death by five sisters, Ms. Nancy Ferguson, Mrs. Mary Nesbitt, Ms. Dorothy (Granny) Ferguson, Mrs. Betty Alexander and Miss. Brenda Ferguson; two brothers, Deacon Gary L. Ferguson and Mr. Johnny Green.
