Mr. Lavanda Dawkins, 68, was born in Union County, SC on July 24th, 1952. Lavanda was proceeded in death by his Father, Levanda Dawkins and Mother, Leola Kelly Dawkins and his youngest son, Racha Dawkins.
Lavanda was most known for his Brilliant Carpentry Skills and articulate expressions. Prior to his passing, Lavanda gave over his life to God and enjoyed weekly bible study. On Friday, Dec 18th, 2020, Lavanda deported this life peacefully at his home in Charlotte, NC.
Lavanda leaves to cherish memories: his eldest son, Lavanda Cathay Dawkins, and only Daughter, Ashila Nicole Dawkins; his Brothers; Albert Lee Dawkins, of Cross Hill, SC, Jesse Kelly, Clinton, SC, Conor Dawkins, Carlisle, SC; his Sisters, Rev. Sadie Norman of Laurens, SC, Mary Lipscomb of Union, SC, Drucilla Dawkins of Enoree, SC, & Mattie Copeland; 8 Grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and a special friend of 15 years, Diane Wilson, and her daughters, Dianna Wilson & Shonniece Breland.
