LIFE PROFILE
Brandon Lamar Westfield, son of Kennard Cromer and Patricia Westfield, age 30, was born June 8, 1990 in Laurens County.
Brandon attended school in Laurens County District 55 Laurens, SC and Benedict College in Columbia, SC.
He was employed at Michelin warehouse in Greer, SC.
Brandon enjoyed playing basketball, shooting pool and traveling. No distance was too far, no place was out of reach. All Brandon needed to hear was do you want to? His response, just let me get my bag and call my Ma. It was a known fact that whenever you received a call from Brandon the first question that needed to be asked is, where are you now? Response, me and Mod, or me and my boys are…
With a deep voice and a broad smile Brandon stood tall with his son Bracion at his side. If there are any questions about how much Brandon loved and care of his son, Bracion, just ask the person standing next to you.
Family members and close friends knew Brandon to be a sleepyhead. When receiving phone calls, he was often asked the question, “were you asleep?” When inquiring about him, “is Brandon asleep?” The family would like to take this opportunity to answer that question. “Yes, Brandon is asleep, but only for a little while.” Brandon and Ahmad rode together, fell asleep together. (BAD BOYS FOR LIFE.)
Brandon leaves to cherish his memory include; one son, Bracion De’Quan Westfield, Mother, Patricia Elaine Westfield, Father, Kennard Cromer; one sister, Sheena Franklin, all of Laurens, SC; one big brother, Antonio Westfield of Duncan, SC; one special brother Akeem Godfrey of Laurens, SC; four aunts, two uncles and a host of cousins, nephews, relatives and friends. One special auntie, Lillie Westfield of Greenville, SC (Thanks for taking Grandma Lillie’s place); Sosha Cunningham, thank you for being my little sister.
Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carrol E. and Lillie B. Dillard and James and Ella Mae Cromer.
