John McDowell, 71, of 219 Independent Avenue, Laurens, SC, died July 26, 2024.
He was the son of the late Waymon McDowell and Ethel Mae Anderson McDowell.
Survivors include three sisters Maggie Annette Downs, Mattie Mae Garrett and Rita Melinda McDowell, one brother Curtis Alphonso McDowell.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 2, 2024 at 1 pm at the WJ Gist Memorial Chapel, Woodruff, SC, with burial in the Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024 at the WJ Gist Memorial Chapel, Woodruff SC from 1 till 6 pm.
WJ Gist Mortuary is in Charge of arrangements.
