Life Profile
After a prolonged battle with cancer, Jacquelyn (Jackie) Joy Fuller died on August 20, 2016 at the age of 59. Jackie was the daughter of Laura W. Fuller and the late Willie DC Fuller, Sr. . She grew up in a large, loving family with two sisters and three brothers.
A 1974 graduate of Woodruff High School and Spartanburg Community College. she worked for the late Dr. J.C. Bull for many years. Later, she began a 24 year career with Spartanburg County Health Department where she worked until her health declined in April of this year. Over the years she also worked part-time for H & R Block Tax Services and Windsor House Assisted Living in Spartanburg.
Deaconess Jacquelyn Fuller was a member of New Bethel FBH Church of Spartanburg, SC. She served on the Board of Deacons, Finance Board, Executive Secretary, and a faithful choir member. As a district official she served as a YPI Ambassador. Deaconess Fuller served as National Official for the FBH Church under the Nurses and Hospitality Guild. Prior to Deaconess Fuller joining New Bethel, she was a member of Mount Zion CME of Cross Anchor, SC and Macedonia FBH Church and New Zion FBH Church both on SC # 1 in Greenville, SC where she served on many boards. She was also a foreign mission booster for the district.
In addition to her mother Jackie is survived by her sisters, Deborah Hair and Jennifer Page; three brothers, Willie Jr, Dwayne Scott and John B. Fuller.
