Mr. Willie Lewis Woodruff was born June 6, 1948 in Woodruff, South Carolina to the late St. Lawerence Betsill Woodruff and Warren G. ‘Bo’ Woodruff.
Mr. Woodruff entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 19, 2018.
Willie lived in Van Nuys, California, Phoenix, Arizona and moved back home ten years ago. Willie attended Sims High School in Union, South Carolina. He enlisted in the U. S. Army and he was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a Purple Heart recipient.
Mr. Woodruff leaves to cherish loving memories: his devoted and beloved cousin/sister, Mamie L. Casey of Woodruff, SC; his daughters, Jettiva Holman-Chandler of Columbia, SC, Lemekia Nixon of Atlanta, GA; two son, Kasheem Woodruff of Reseda, CA, and Anthony Woodruff of CA; one sister, Betty Lane of Woodruff, SC; one granddaughter, Taelor Holaman of Columbia, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
