Life Profile

Brenda Pearson Foster, passed away at Spartanburg Regional Hospital on June 19, 2021. She was born to the late Frances Styles Pearson and Fortune Pearson on February 28, 1945.

Brenda graduated from New Bethel High School in 1963. She completed several courses in Early Childhood Development at Spartanburg Methodist College. She spent her entire work career employed by Spartanburg School District 4, working with and enjoying young children. She was a sociable person and took special delight in being a very active member of her Sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho, Philo Chapter of Spartanburg, SC.

Left to cherish loving memories of her include her sister, Karen Pearson of Enoree, SC; her brother Sandyles (Baretta) Pearson of McLean, VA; one niece, Devoryn Talana (Sean) Gray-Coleman and, one great-niece, Ceyanna Coleman, both of Charlotte, NC; Special friends, Geraldine Simmons and Melba Blakely; and a host of other relatives and friends.
