Mrs. Magdalene (Sissy) Jones Washington was born to James and Elizabeth Jones on March 10, 1941.

She was united in marriage to Charlie Washington who preceded her in death.

She was the loving and caring mother of two sons, Kelvin P. Stephens, who preceded her in death, and Keith J. Jones of the home.

She was a graduate of New Bethel High School in Woodruff, SC. She also attended Indian River Community College of Nursing in Fort Pierce, FL where she received an LPN Degree.

She was a member of Grace and Truth Ministries of Spartanburg, SC. She worshipped and served there faithfully until her health began to fail.

She leaves to mourn her passing; one son, Keith J. Jones; the greatest loves of her life, three granddaughters, Daphne Hogan, Kristen Stephens and TaKenvia Jones; four great-grandchildren. She leaves her two sisters, Queenie Lawton and Mae Jones who loved her so and will miss her being the number one person in the trio; a niece, Karen Garret, who was also her pastor and caregiver; three brothers, Bennie Jones, Carlos Jones and Douglas Jones; two very special friends, Mattie Brown and Carmen Dambrossio. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
