Edward Pearson, 72 of 14090 Hwy 221 died Friday, August 31, 2018.
He is the son of the late Fletcher Pearson and Sallie Lou Shelton Pearson and husband of Rita Rollins Pearson, of the home.
Edward was a graduate of New Bethel HIgh School, Woodruff, SC. A Deacon of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Enoree, SC. also a member of Union Lodge #1 Masons, Foster Oglesby #61 Royal Arch, JE Dickson Consistory #217, Tamin Temple #155 A.E.A.O.N.M.S. A lifetime member of VFW Post #6734, Ronald E. McNair American Legion Post #270.
Retired from the US Postal Service after 32 years and owner of Pearson’s Salvage & Towing Services.
In addition to his wife of 48 years, Rita R. Pearson, Edward is survived by one son, Norman Xavier Pearson of Raleigh, NC. One brother, Harry Pearson of Cleveland, Ohio. One sister, Wilma Stephens of North Brunswick, NJ. One grand daughter, Ryan Monique Brown of Spartanburg, SC. One great grandson, Dakhori Brown of Spartanburg, SC. One great grand daughter, Rylli Brown of Spartanburg, SC.
Funeral service will be held, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 1 PM at Beaverdam Baptist Church, Enoree, SC with burial and military rites at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens, Woodruff, SC. W. J. Gist Mortuary Woodruff, SC.
