Miss Betty Jean Shelton was born on September 24, 1959 to the late John Henry and Mary Lee Shelton. She attended school in Woodruff, South Carolina. She joined Cedar Grove Baptist Church at an early age.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Janie S. Johnson, Kathleen Shelton, and Frances Gray; five brothers, Henry Shelton, Johnny Shelton, Eddie Shelton, Calvin Shelton and Bobby Shelton.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, two daughters, Bresyln Pringle and Tiffany Shelton, both of Spartanburg, SC; Three sisters, Mary Hardin and Annie Shelton, both of Enoree, SC and Martha (Tony) Scott of Woodruff, SC; two grandchildren, Sentell Hall and Aidan Thompson; one aunt, Mattie Louise Cullen of Hampton, VA; one God Sister, Geraldine Cook of Woodruff, SC; one God Uncle, Sonny Morgan of Union, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
