Arthur Hall of Cross Anchor, SC entered his eternal rest on Friday, August 24, 2018.
Mr. Hall was born on July 28, 1952 in Newberry, SC.
He moved his family to the Cross Anchor community and joined Mt. Zion CME Church and later joined New Hope AME Zion Church where he served faithfully until God called him home.
Mr. Hall served in the United States National Guard Armory 228 Signal Brigades of Spartanburg, SC for 20 years until his retirement. He also retired from Michelin Tires in Spartanburg, SC after 20 years.
Mr. Hall was born into a large family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ethel Hall; six brothers, Clarence Hall, Jr., Lewis Nelson Hall Sr., Isaiah Hall, Saul Hall, Robert Hall, Theodore Hall Sr.; three sisters, Alice Hall, Isabel Dawkins and Albarea Martin. Mr. Hall left to cherish fond memories, a loving wife, Willie Pearl Hall; two daughters, Michelle (Christopher) Evans of Birmingham, Alabama and Tracy (Franklin)Wilson of Cross Anchor, SC; five grandchildren, Dominique’ DanYelle’ Evans, Christopher Deon Evans Jr., Courtney JaVaughn Evans, Justin Xavier Evans and De’Asia Nicole Wilson; four great-grandchildren; Makai Emmanuel Orton, Elijah Breeze Orton, Jeremiah Blaze Orton and Aanah Milan Evans; two sisters, Lillian Johnson of Hartford, CT and Ethel (Harold) Pinckney of Charleston, SC.; two brothers, Willie (Mary) Hall of Cross Anchor, SC and Obadiah (Debra) Hall of Boiling Springs, SC; Father-in-Law, James Briggs; three sisters-in-law, Mary Lois Hall, Julia Mae Hall and Janie Mae Hall; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished friends.
